Reflections on The Eternal Lover 1. How did I write this book Reflections on The Eternal Lover poetry? It is a collection of my free verse inspirational, Christian poems for adults on life's journey and reflections on mostly SPIRITUAL and INSPIRING topics. I grew up in Christian centered home that was focused on God's word as the solution to every problem. This is the context of my poetry. Each poem will find you somewhere and meet you in a new place. It is all about God in life in the visible and tangible way. Is it difficult to read? Nope! These poems are not difficult to read but they are real and relatable. You really have to read it when you can reflect and soak in the meaning. This book is also partly a devotional reflective book filled with scriptures to think about and questions in the back of the book. It is meant to read daily forty-days. Some would call it their daily devotional. Take a poem and get uplifted. You could be sick, you could be depressed, you could be happy, or you could be worshipping and praising God. 2. Why are there different versions of the same book, on Amazon.com? The first is the unedited version but has the prettier cover. The first cover has the swirls, pink roses. The second edition, which you will notice, is simple and to the point. It is beige with a blue-sky photo. This one is edited, and I consider it more streamlined for better readability.
